Bale Clamp

Handling of small pulp bales, cotton bales, wool bales, soft bales of fiber and tobacco.

Pulp bales are designed to handle 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8 pulp bales at a time. Sometimes the same attachment is also used to handle single and non-packaged bags. When choosing a handling attachment for pulp bales, pay special attention to how it will be handled, and which combination of units will be used for handling.

Recycled paper (waste paper) is collected from consumers, then compressed (usually at a local collection facility) into soft bales and shipped to pulp mills. Paper bale handling is usually a rougher operation than any other bale handling and attachments often require increased protection against wear and tear, all moving and hydraulic parts must be well protected against impacts and dropped objects.
